It's that time of year again!!

It is nearly that time of the year again!  It only seems like a few weeks ago that it was last Christmas!  Maybe it has gone very fast because I went overseas just after Christmas last year and didn't arrive back in Australia until February.  I had an amazing time in the UK, travelled over 2,000 km including Scotland and most of England.  Then had a week in Paris before flying home.  Anyway looks like I will be getting the tree out of the garage this weekend so it is ready to be decorated.  I am cleaning out the garage as it happens so it will be a good time to bring it in the house.

Christmas is a magical time and memories of holidays as a child fill my thoughts and I shed a few tears. "Holiday Inn", and "White Christmas" can quite efficiently put a very big lump in my throat and produce copious amounts of tears, we used to sit down after tea as a family and watch the television on Christmas Eve and both films were on.   My mum used to make every Christmas special and I miss her very much and helping her in the preparations and baking on "Christmas Eve".  I try to carry on the same traditions that I learnt from her and my grandmother and the familiarity of doing this always makes me feel good.  I may not have my parents in the physical sense, but I feel their presence very strongly especially during the Christmas holidays.  I bake "Mince Pies" using my Grandmother's shortcrust pastry recipe and my Mum's Mincemeat recipe for the filling and it gives me so much joy in my heart recreating a family favourite from days gone by and just as much happiness eating them, heehee!! And of course I am passing on these very same traditions to my children and grandchildren for them to remember and enjoy and pass on too.

Life is exactly this, family, love, joy and happy memories!  Live like there is no tomorrow, don't waste a moment, follow your heart and make your dreams come true.  We all have a choice to live fully and not miss a moment, once that moment is gone you can never have it back. So it makes sense to be happy and enjoy every second!  I hope your preparations are all going well too.  Come and visit my page in a week or two and I will have photos of our "Christmas Tree" and decorations.  Till then x

"Certified Angel Card Reader"

The past few weeks for me have been incredible.  It has been a time of learning, growth and understanding.  I am currently halfway through a course with "Doreen Virtue" and "Radleigh Valentine" to become a"Certified Angel Card Reader" and have increased my intuitive power to accurately and with love do card readings.  I have always been aware of my connection with the "Angels" and for a long time ignored the messages I received, but now I see it is a gift to be shared to help others and not a burden in any way. I embrace it now and learn as much as I can to enhance this wonderful blessing.  And it truly is a blessing, one of insight, awareness and being able to read a situation or people intuitively and relay valuable messages from their "Angel and Guides" to help them. I often have prophetic type dreams and even though they sometimes can be confusing, usually the message I need to hear is revealed to me in time.

The cards that I am using are the "Angel Tarot Cards"

I usually do readings with oracle cards so using the Tarot is new for me.
I feel very drawn to these cards as they express how I would describe
the messages I receive in my own words.  I do use the oracle cards combined
in readings and this is working very well.  I have learnt a lot about "Tarot"
and I am now confident using them and interpreting the cards I draw. It
has been a great experience doing this course and meeting other "Angel
Card Readers" and hearing their stories and advice, especially Doreen
and Radleigh who are amazing people and I am so happy that I have had
the chance to get to know them, it has been a journey, a beautiful enlightening
spiritual journey developing what has always been a part of who I am.  I only
have one more class and then I will be certified and will display my badge on
my blog pages. And then will offer "Angel Card Readings". All the details will be
on my blog so be quick to take advantage of my offer, which will include a special
gift for my first 10 client's.

Fairies Do Exist!

I believe in Fairies, do you?  It is said that to attract them to your home you need to make them welcome!  In my kitchen I truly believe they visit, I leave water in a miniature cup and some bread and many times I awake to find it is gone. They also like "Honey, Milk and Nectar" so I have been told. I am very careful to never leave knives out on the bench and to clean the bench tops and not leave dirty dishes because they don't like that at all!! So it is very important to keep your kitchen clean!

Some fairies love the garden and appreciate a place prepared for them among the sweet-smelling flowers and shrubs. Building a fairy cottage and placing it in the garden will attract them to visit and play and while they are there they will attend to the garden and sprinkle fairy dust wherever they go.  Fairies love fresh flowers and laughter, this attracts them.  Fairies especially love to dance.  Fairies most favourite places they frequent are, islands, under toadstools, where streams divide and border hedges. Have you seen a ripple in the water or felt a sudden chill?  Fairies are nearby!  Music, Jingles and bells attract them, so have a few wind chimes and bells in your garden.  They often play melodies that are haunting and wistful.

The disappearance of small objects in your home is a big clue to their presence and that they visit you, even if it is a little annoying when you can't find something! I often say it's gone with the fairies! Maybe you have fairies visit you and if not why not try some of the few little tips I have provided for you~ smile~   I absolutely love the "Flower Fairies" and for your viewing pleasure added some of "Cicely Mary Barker's" beautiful illustrations below.  I have a gorgeous set of 100 postcards with every one of her drawings and have added several to white decorative frames to hang on the walls in my home, please sit back and enjoy!
